User directory

The User Directory contains information about the company’s employees. It includes user information, addresses and phone numbers. This information can be used by telephone operators, etc., in order to provide the best service possible.

User information

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Department
  • Job title
  • Email
  • User name – The user name is used exclusively to facilitate IP phone calls (free). Example: To reach our support service, call “sip:support@phone.gauffin.com.”
  • Phone number – It is possible to enter several phone numbers, i.e., cell, work cell, home, etc

Integration possibilities

  • Import/export in vCARD format. Supported by Outlook, Mac OS X Address Book, Vista Contacts, etc.
  • Import from MS Excel
  • Import from CSV
  • Import/export via a Web Service in XML format, i.e., http://pbxaddress/user/show/jonas.xml, where jonas is the user name.
